Treat yourself, your co-workers, friends or family to a sportive and fun workshop on your location. Under the expert guidance of our certified Zumba instructor we will build a sportive work-out party on your location. All of this on swinging Latin music and the latest hits.
Everyone can do Zumba. The dancemoves are easy to pick up and everyone can follow in his or her own pace. Zumba is an individual dance, so no partner is required.
What is Zumba?
Zumba is a form of fitness that combines Latin-dance and aerobics with Latin music and the latest international. This creates a dynamic, fun and efficient fitness program.
Zumba is suitable for people of all ages. It is a fitness program that can be followed on your own pace. It’s fun and easy to follow.
What can Zumba do (when done regularly)?
Zumba follows the aerobic and interval training method. This improves the burning of fat. You can burn up to 1000 calories per Zumba work-out. This is depending on the fitness level, intensity and how familiar you are with the moves.
During a Zumba class you get good control over your core/torso, in other words: your abdomen, back and leg muscles. Giving you better and stronger muscles. Your lower body gets a full workout. When doing Zumba on a regular basis you will notice your butt en leg muscles will become better shaped and become stronger. The movements of the arms during Zumba routines also contribute to a better shape of your arms
Condition or cardiovascular improvement means the quality of your lungs and your blood circulation is being improved. The most important muscle of your body – your heart – becomes stronger. Your stamina will improve.
The swinging dance moves used in Zumba combine arm, waist and leg movements, improving your coordination with various body parts.
At the end of each session there is a cool down on slower (but swinging) music. This cool down involves a lot of stretching, keeping (or making) you more flexible.
