Yesterday Sjaak the Pirate was having another show in the always pleasant Theater de Molen in Beuningen. Where we started, as it's almost a tradition, with recording new images for a new promotion movie of the show. The old one dates back almost 6 years, so it's about time!

The coming weeks/months we will be recording more movies during shows in order to get enough material for a new, fresh and dynamic promotional movie.

In the meantime we recorded a small time lapse movie. During the building of the stage, the show and the breakdown of it all we made a picture, every 3 seconds ( more 4200 in slightly more then 3.5 hours). ALl these photo's we're put in order and playedback with a speed of 20 pictures per second.  A little editing and a soundtrack added and the whole thing came out as a nice movie that shows you the complete process of a show at the speed of light (well... close enough)

The Artist Interest Center (ABC) has been the branchorganisation for profesional artists in the Netherlands for over 12,5 years. Throughout the years the ABC has accomplished a number of things to improve the artists position in the market, with the most recent addition: an inssurance develloped especially for artists (a European scoop!)

In order to realise all this th ABC has a board of very active and committed artists who combine their efforts without interst for the ABC.

Clown Zassie Entertainment has been a member of the ABC for a while, and yesterday Jerry van Dodewaard (the person behind Clown Zassie) was added to the board of ABC. This happend during the general members meeting on the Artist and Event tradeshow in Eindhoven.

Jerry will focus on the intern and extern communication and implement social media for the ABC the coming period.

Every year thousands of people plan to excercise more in the new year. So... halp them a little and book one of our brand new Zumba workshops.

Get active with all your collegues on your own location: it's possible! We will come to you with a soundset, lightset, stage and decoration. Our certified Zumba instructor will introduce you to the fun world of Zumba. Using swinging Latin beats and the lastest hits you will start dancing and work out at the same time.

Zumab is the most fun and popular form of fitness of this moment.

Clown Zassie Entertainment can supply you with two different Zumab workshops:

• Zumba workshop for adults (14+)
• Zumbatomic workshop for children (4-12 years)

The new year is approaching and therefore it was time to update our brochure. Our renewed brochure is similar to the previous one, especially design wise. But there are a few nice additions in it:

Het is nu nog warm en lang licht buiten, maar voor u het weet is het weer november en staat Sinterklaas op de stoep bij uw bedrijf. U kunt dus al maar vast voorbereid zijn!

Hoewel de Sinterklaasperiode bijna 3 weken duurt vieren de meeste bedrijven en instellingen op gelijke dagen. Het is dus wijs om nu al rond te kijken en een geschikt voorprogramma te boeken voor uw sint Nicolaas feest. Clown Zasssie Entertainment is hier het juiste adres voor.

Een doldwaze show vol humor, magie, spelletjes, muziek en meer. Gepresenteerd door een echte zwarte piet.

Naast de Pi-Pa-Pepernoten Parade kunt u uiteraard ook onze gebruikelijke kindershows boeken, deze zullen speciaal voor deze bijzondere tijd worden gehuld in een sinterklaas jasje.

With a little pride I have the pleasure to present: the completely renewed website of Clown Zassie Entertainment!

It was about time: the old website dates back to 2003 (with modifications throughpout the years) and was a little old fashioned. Time for something new!

The new website has a fresher look, is much more dynamic and easier to maintain then the old one. Therefore it will be easier to update and keep you informed about the lastest devellopments surrounding the best clown from Dordrecht!

You may have heard something about it in the news: the VAT rate for art and culture will be raised from 6% to 19%. What hasn't been addressed in the media that well is that it doens't just influence the price museum and concert tickets, but also the artists themselves.

Due to this tax change all services of Clown Zassie Entertainment will be charged with 19% VAT as of 1-7-2011. This also counts for already booked performances.

The only exception for this will be our birthday party arrangements: these tariffs have already been adjusted to the 19% VAT from the beginning of the year and will therfore remain the same, even after 1-7-2011

Ude to the many requests we've received for our balloondecorations we have have decided to make them available as a seperate service.

As of today our balloon decorations can be rented on a stand-alone basis. We do use additional ordercosts for this, but still it's cheaper then to rent it in combination with entertainment.

Balloondecoration is available in the form of balloon arches and balloon pillars and can be rented in Zwijndrecht, Papendrecht and Dordrecht (rent per frame per day)

We also have a few other additional services that can be rented on a stand-alone basis. You can find these under the menu item: equipment rental

Jerry the Ballonheer can be found  just over 35 timne this year on the nicest Outlet shopping centre of the Netherlands: Rosada Factory Outlet in Riosendaal.

On a lot of Sundays (and some Saturdays) he will perform his skills with balloons between 12:30 and 16:30

Novembre has already passed, and we're receiving the first bookigns for 2011. Reason enough to update our agenda.

The online agenda has been giving a good indcication of the availability of Clown Zassie's services for years. Are you looking for entertainment> Then take a quick peak in our agenda to see if we're available to provide you with it.

Due to the overwhelming demand on balloondecorations we are currently looking into wether or not we will be offering balloon decoration on a stand-alone basis.

If this happens we will only be providing this service in Papendrecht, Zwijndrecht and Dordrecht and agains higher rates then when it's booked in combination with our entertainment services.

We're also orienting on making the ballondecorations a product to sell (currently it's a rental). Because the decoration (actually the frame) is bought you can decode for yourself how long you want to keep it, instead of the usual 24 hour rental period. This requires a different approach and more materials, so we're looking into the possibilities.
